Digital X-Rays
Since we can’t see issues that develop inside your teeth during a visual exam, we need to use dental x-rays. We can’t treat what we can’t see, and our digital x-rays allow us to detect minor issues before they become major problems. Early treatment saves you discomfort and time and money spent on complex dental procedures.
The main reason we use digital x-rays at our Garland, TX dental office is that we care about your safety. Our state-of-the-art digital x-rays reduce your exposure to radiation by as much as 80 percent.
Another benefit to you is that we can use digital x-ray images as learning tools. Seeing is believing, and instead of a cavity being a concept in your mind, you can see how the decay is affecting your tooth. When you feel informed, you can make confident decisions about dental care that are right for you and your family.
Since we store your digital x-rays in your patient record, we can access them easily to monitor ongoing conditions. And since no hazardous chemicals are used to process your digital x-rays, they have no impact on our environment.
