Did you know your child should start seeing their dentist regularly for checkups around age one or two? These early visits allow us to build a positive relationship with your child for successful dental visits in the future. We can also begin monitoring their dental health and development to make you aware of any concerns early on when problems are less complicated to treat.

Taking Care of the Smallest Smiles at Garden Grove Dentistry

Dr. Jung and his team love taking care of children! We aim to make their visits upbeat and fun so they look forward to dental care and understand it's not scary.

We provide a wide range of services for children, including preventive exams, teeth cleanings when they're old enough and comfortable in the dental chair, and restorative services for troubled teeth, such as children's fillings, crowns, and root canals.

Once children begin their dental journey around age one or two, they should continue to visit their children's dentist in Garland, TX, every six months, just like their parents. As your little one grows, Dr. Jung may recommend additional services to protect their teeth, such as fluoride treatment or dental sealants. Fluoride helps strengthen developing teeth, while sealants add a thin plastic coating over their chewing surfaces to protect molars from tooth decay and cavities.

Parents play an integral role in protecting their child's developing smile, so we partner closely with them and strive to educate them about their little one's oral health.
